Alone Time

Being that I am a cat, I have lots of alone time. Which we cats actually need a lot of because we like some independence.

I do a lot of things during my alone time like nap, play, eat, drink and use the litter box. But I also think a lot about the meaning of my life and why it is that I'm a cat as opposed to say, a person.

A pet psychic once told me that I was a very mean person in my last life, so I am a cat this time around to learn to be nicer.

I was a little stinker when I was younger and behaved very badly to my person. I would get on top of the dresser and knock things off to try to wake her up in the middle of the night. Or scratch on something to wake her up. I peed on her bed, her couch, her luggage, her clothes, on her while she was in the bed all more than just a few times.

Fortunately for me I got a pretty good person. She never gave me away or hurt me. She just tried to understand what was going on with me and help me to feel safe and loved.

It showed me what it feels like for someone to be compassionate and committed. It made me feel good.

I spend a lot of time thinking about how I will be if I come back as a person again...If I do I want to be like my person...loving, kind, considerate, caring to others.

I also spend a lot of time praying and meditating and thanking the universe for helping me to learn to contribute to the positive love energy of the world instead of the negative destructive energy of the world.

So, if you have some extra alone time and don't know what to do with yourself try pondering on what you are here to learn in the life situation that you're in. Ask the universe what your true purpose is here and how you can contribute to the positive energy of the world and help in even just some small way.

Today was a lazy day. I took lots of naps. First I napped under the bed...then I napped on top of the bed...then I napped in the window sill...then under the bed again....

Sometimes ya just need some down time to get back in balance and remember what's really important in life....

I Got A New T-Shirt

Aren't I adorable in my new Pink T-Shirt with Skulls and Hearts! I love being the apple of my mom's eye! It really made me feel good when she put the t-shirt on meand told me how beautiful I looked...so I posed for this picture for her.

My real mom abandoned me when I was only 4 weeks old, at night, in the pouring down rain. She left me alone and scared. I am so grateful that I have a home and a mom that loves me and takes great care of me.

For awhile I thought she might leave me too. I was very scared every time she left the house and got anxiety attacks when she went out of town and peed all over her couch and bed and anything she left on the floor. She got very mad at me and it took her awhile to understand what I was going through. She never gave up on me though and now after being with her for 13 years, I know that she always comes back home and gives me a great big hug and a kiss.

I think I've finally gotten over my abandonment issues...childhood emotional trauma takes a lot of time to work through.

If Pooh Bear was a writer, she would be called "Capoohte".

Hi, my name is Pooh Bear. I am a cat and a writer, so my owner nicknamed me "Capoohte".

After Truman Capote, of course. How clever of her.

This is a photo of me sitting on my desk. If I look a little perterbed it's because this picture was taken before I had a chance to have my first cup of coffee. I am not a morning cat!

I started this blog to share about life from a cat's perspective. I have an old soul but am stuck in a cat's body in this lifetime because I was a wicked little girl in my last life. I have so much to say but no vocal chords to say it all with. So, when my owner got this computer I studied how she used it and Wah La, now I have a way to communicate! While she's sleeping I'm blogging!
